Sam + Nick | Engagement Session

One of the best parts of being a photographer is seeing a side of people's relationships that most people don't get to see - I work with Sam and Nick and am friends with both of them, but until this session, I never saw the way they looked at each other. You'll notice most of my favorite pictures are ones where they are looking at one another simply because as soon as they made eye contact, both of them lit up and had a big smile on their face. Congrats to you two love birds :)

The VanGorp's | Family Session

I'm pretty sure little Grady is going to have the girls flocking to him when he gets a little older.  Such bright blue eyes, little dimples, and a great smile.  We had a perfect fall day for a family shoot down at Greenwood Park and their pictures turned out wonderful (I'm not surprised though because I had good subjects to work with!)  Here are a few of my favs!

Ella is 6 Months | Child Session

Big blue eyes, long black eyelashes, a headful of dark hair, and some chubby little cheeks ... I'm pretty sure little Ella couldn't get any cuter.  Six months is alwas a tough session because these kiddos are at an inbetween stage and beginnng to be more and more curious about what's going on around them.  Needless to say, I got more strange looks than smiles but Ella is cute enough to make it work.

My Little Butterfly

So my daughter and I spent a little time this afternoon taking pictures of her in her halloween costume to send to family.  She looks too darn cute for me not to share.  I also have to post a picture of 3 of our 10 pumpkins ......... carving is way too much work (just ask my hubby!) so he bought some sets.  I think they are adorable!

Kate + John | Engagement Session

The first thing Kate told me when she got out of the vehicle was that she was sick and would be forcing a lot of smiles.  Well, luckily for me, John was able to get her laughing so often that I don't think she had to force too many :)  These two are such a fun, down to earth couple and I have a feeling their wedding is going to be a breeze to shoot next June.  I love when couples don't mind getting kissy, cuddly in front of me, and John and Kate were one of those couples :)

The Fenner's | Extended Family Session

I met Dana and her whole family downtown on one of those absolutely gorgeous October evenings we have been having.  Her sister, Lori, and her two boys recently moved to Iowa from Texas so they were all ready to get some family pictures done.  They were all so cooperative and willing to do whatever that our session flew.  Here are a few of my favorites.
