Isabelle, Ava & Mason | Child Session

In only a half hour, I squeezed out about 150 photos of these three and even though we (yes we ... I was chasing) were running around, playing ball and blowing bubbles, I was happy with how they turned out.  The best part about the pictures was that it was just three adorable kids, being kids!  Isabelle is definitely the little diva doing dance moves and posing on queue; Ava is the dramatic one and so in love with her boyfriend, Justin Bieber of course; and little Mason, well he is still just a curious little boy with bright blue eyes.  Can't wait to photograph these kids again ... hopefully next time, Mom and Dad get in some pictures (hint, hint!)

Baby Ella | Hospital Newborn Visit

My friend, Victoria, had her little girl back in April and I was lucky enough to go visit them both at the hospital and snap a few informal shots. When Vic got back to work from maternity leave, I was reminded that I still hadn't really looked through these. I finally snuck a few minutes to edit them - verdict is, she's a keeper :)

Amanda + Todd | Engagement Session Part 1

I am so blessed to have Amanda and Todd in my life. Both are co-workers at my "real job" and have become great friends. Not only have they asked me to capture the day they become Mr. and Mrs. Smith next May, but I will also be Amanda's personal attendant on their big day. Needless to say, Amanda and I have been talking about these photos for quite sometime (before she even got engaged to be exact!) and decided to do two different photo shoots - a daytime, casual shoot and a nighttime, elegant shoot. I'm so thankful these two would do whatever I asked, including climbing a muddy hill in heels, laying next to dog poop (it was the best angle) and getting very intimate in front of me. Here are few of my favorites including two of her gorgeous ring! I didn't want to post too many as the couple hasn't even seen them yet ...

The Brittain's | Family Session

Over the years Christine has filled loads of albums with pictures of Michael and their son Tyler, but had few with her in them. So when Michael asked Christine what she wanted this Mother's Day, her answer wasn't jewelry or flowers ... but family photos. We spent a scorching end of May day down at Gray's Lake and captured some great moments.

Michelle + Jason | Engagement Session

Only having met Michelle and Jason briefly for our consultation, I was hoping they wouldn't be too upset at my ordering them to kiss and get nice and close for the camera ... and they weren't! I was amazed by how much Michelle's look changed just by pulling her hair up. Super excited to shoot their wedding over Labor Day weekend.

The Jones' | Family Session

It's always difficult keeping up with a four year old and a one year old bound - while this time was no different, it was especially fun. This family has a lot to celebrate less than a year after Cale's successful open heart surgery at six days old. Happy birthday to both Ava and Cale :)

Mylan + Girls | Family Session

Mylan, Malina and Kailee were amazing in their photo shoot. Not only were they up for anything but they are probably the most photogenic kids I have ever met. Pretty sure I wore Mylan out with my "you need to get your kids into modeling" line every five seconds.
